Yasmin has been working as a mental health practitioner since 2011, now at Birmingham CBT. She starting her career as a volunteer counsellor for Child Line. Whilst working in this role Yasmin developed a passion for helping people and made the decision to train to become a counsellor. Building on her counselling qualification  she went on to complete extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural therapy gaining an advance diploma and then post graduate diploma in CBT. Over the years she has gained experience in a range of  settings including the NHS, schools and charities . Yasmin currently works within an NHS IAPT service focusing on helping people to overcome a range of mental health difficulties which include , Social Phobia, Panic attacks, OCD, Health anxiety, depression and low self esteem.

Online Therapy 

Yasmin is has a keen interest in trauma work and recently completed my EMDR training. She is able to support both Adults and children with a range of presenting difficulties.

When not working Yasmin enjoys a range of things such as travelling, boxing, bike rides and long walks in the countryside. As well as spending quality time with my three children.
